Progress is happening for NumMerge


I am happy with the progress of my little puzzle game. I have two power ups working and 15 levels implemented. The power ups are fun to use and I found myself wanting more! A couple of updates improved the “game feel” like being able to cancel out of selections. The hardest thing to program so far was detecting if there are no valid moves left to show the game over screen. There is actually still some bugs with that and it doesn’t pop up every time, I need to fix that and a few other things, like power ups not counting towards getting an X length chain level goals, and tuning the difficulty flow of the level objectives, and then I’ll be ready to share the game with more people soon!

Long term goals are to publish to mobile. Thanks for reading this dev log. Let me know if you want the password to play the early beta version now.
